Meet Joey
When a conveyor goes down, the clock starts. The line is stopped, a crew is standing by, and someone upstairs is asking when production comes back. The last thing you have time for in that moment is digging through a PDF manual for a serial number or waiting on a callback.
That is the problem Joey is built to solve.
What Joey is
Joey is Transcon’s AI assistant. Ask it a question about your conveyor in plain language and get a useful answer back in seconds – no login, no email form, no waiting on hold.
Joey is trained on six decades of Transcon material: our brochures, manuals, technical write-ups, and field notes. It pulls from the same library our engineers reach for when a customer calls. So when you ask about belt pitch, head shaft alignment, overload protection, or what to send us for a parts quote, the answer comes from Transcon’s own knowledge – not a generic web search.
How it helps on the floor
Most of our customers aren’t sitting at a desk when a question comes up. They’re standing in front of the equipment. Joey is built for that moment:
- Fast answers when a line is down. Type the question, get a direct answer, keep moving. No manual to dig through.
- Help identifying the right part. Not sure what you need or what to send us? Joey can point you in the right direction and tell you which details speed up a quote.
- Maintenance and troubleshooting guidance. Wear patterns, tension, alignment, overload protection – the things that actually keep a conveyor running.
- Available any time. Joey doesn’t keep business hours, so the answer is there whether your line goes down at 2 PM or 2 AM.
What Joey won’t do
Joey is here to help you get moving, not to sell you something. It isn’t a chat widget pretending to be a salesperson. If a question needs a real engineer – and plenty of them do – Joey will say so and point you to one of us. For anything involving a custom application or a specific quote, the right next step is a conversation with a Transcon engineer, and Joey will get you there.
Try it
Joey is live now at transconconveyor.com/ask-joey. Ask it about belt pitch, frame design, replacement parts, overload protection, or whatever else is keeping your line down. It’s free, with no login and no email capture.
If Joey gets something wrong, tell us. We update what it knows regularly.
