Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 15, 2026
Transcon Conveyor (“Transcon,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates transconconveyor.com. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what choices you have.
We are a business-to-business manufacturer. We are not interested in your personal life. Nearly everything described here exists to answer inquiries faster and to understand which parts of our site are useful to the engineers and buyers who visit it.
1. Information you give us directly
When you fill out a form on our site, request a quote, request parts, or contact us, we collect what you type into that form. Depending on the form, that can include:
- Your name
- Your company name
- Your email address and phone number
- Details about your application, your equipment, or the parts you need
- Any files or descriptions you choose to attach
We use this to respond to you, prepare quotes, and fulfill orders. If you check the marketing opt-in box on our quote form, we may also send you occasional updates. You can opt out of those at any time using the unsubscribe link in the email or by contacting us.
2. Information collected automatically
When you visit our site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical information:
- Your IP address, browser type, device type and screen size
- The pages you visit, how long you spend on them, and how far you scroll
- The site or link that referred you to us
- Approximate location, derived from your IP address at the city level
- Clicks on phone numbers, brochure downloads, and searches you run on our site
Session recording and heatmaps
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how people actually use our pages. Clarity records your interactions with our site, including mouse movement, clicks and scrolling, and replays them as an anonymized session so we can see where a page is confusing. Clarity masks text input by default, so what you type into a form is not captured in the replay. You can read Microsoft’s privacy statement at microsoft.com/privacy and opt out of Clarity and Microsoft advertising tracking at choice.microsoft.com/opt-out.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager to measure traffic and understand which pages lead to inquiries. Google may set cookies to distinguish repeat visits. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites using Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Advertising and retargeting
We use the LinkedIn Insight Tag so we can measure whether our LinkedIn advertising reaches the right audience and to show relevant ads to people who have visited our site. LinkedIn may set cookies and may match your visit to your LinkedIn member account. LinkedIn does not share your identity with us. We see aggregated, anonymized reporting about the kinds of companies and job functions that visit, never a list of names.
You can control this directly in your LinkedIn settings under Advertising Data, and you can opt out of LinkedIn ad tracking at linkedin.com/psettings/guest-controls/retargeting-opt-out.
Spam and bot protection
Our forms are protected by CleanTalk. To tell a person from a bot, CleanTalk analyzes behavioral signals such as typing and mouse activity on pages with forms, and checks submissions against its spam database. This means form-related data is transmitted to CleanTalk for screening.
Campaign landing pages
We sometimes build a page tailored to a specific company we are talking to, and send a link to it. When someone opens one of those pages we measure how the page performed: whether it was opened, how long it was read, how far it was scrolled, and whether a button was clicked.
This measurement resolves to the company, not to an individual. Everyone we contact at a given company receives the same link, and our analytics returns only general information such as browser, device type and approximate city. It does not tell us which person opened the page, and it does not give us a name, an email address or an IP address.
3. Our AI tools
Our site offers two tools that use artificial intelligence: Joey, our conveyor assistant, and our Conveyor Sizing Calculator.
When you type a question or an application description into either tool, that text is sent to OpenAI to generate a response. Please do not enter confidential specifications, drawings, personal information, or anything you would not want leaving your organization. If you need to discuss something sensitive, call us at 440-255-7600 instead.
Joey does not keep a record of your conversation. Your messages are passed to OpenAI to produce an answer and are not stored on our website or in our systems. OpenAI’s own handling of API data is governed by their policies at openai.com/policies.
The Conveyor Sizing Calculator is different, because it can generate a quote request. If you choose to have your results emailed to you, we collect your email address and company name, send you a copy of the recommendation, and send the same details to our sales team as an inquiry so an engineer can follow up. If you do not want to be contacted, use the calculator without submitting your email.
These tools give general guidance based on our published materials. They are not a substitute for an engineered quote, and nothing they produce is a binding specification.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar storage for three purposes:
- Necessary: keeping the site working, security, and load balancing through Cloudflare.
- Analytics: understanding site usage, as described above.
- Advertising: measuring and targeting our LinkedIn advertising.
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking analytics and advertising cookies will not affect your ability to use our site, request a quote, or contact us. Blocking necessary cookies may break parts of the site.
5. Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with data brokers.
We share information with service providers who help us operate, and only so they can do that job. As of the date above these are:
| Provider | What it handles |
|---|---|
| WP Engine | Website hosting |
| Cloudflare | DNS, content delivery and security |
| Google (Analytics, Tag Manager, Fonts, Translate) | Analytics and site delivery |
| Microsoft Clarity | Session replay and heatmaps |
| Advertising measurement and retargeting | |
| CleanTalk | Form spam and bot screening |
| OpenAI | Powering Joey and the sizing calculator |
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a sale or reorganization of the business.
6. How long we keep things
We keep form submissions and the correspondence that follows for as long as needed to serve you and to meet our business and legal obligations. Analytics data is kept according to each provider’s retention settings. You can ask us to delete your information using the contact details below and we will do so where we are not required to keep it.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS across the whole site), access controls, and a managed hosting environment. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and rights
Wherever you are, you can:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct or delete it
- Opt out of marketing email at any time
- Opt out of analytics and advertising tracking using the links in section 2
- Turn on “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control in your browser
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or similar state privacy laws, including the right to know what is collected, the right to deletion, the right to correct, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law.
To exercise any of these, contact us using section 10. We will verify your request before acting on it.
9. Visitors outside the United States
Transcon Conveyor is located in the United States and our site is hosted here. If you visit from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country. By using our site you consent to that transfer.
10. Children
Our site is intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be noted on this page.
